These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) set out the basis on which The Private GP provides membership services to you. By purchasing a membership and setting up monthly payments, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully.
1. Membership Agreement
1.1 Membership is available through monthly payments as outlined on our Memberships Page.
1.2 By joining, you enter into a minimum 12-month contract.
1.3 Membership payments are taken monthly via the payment method you provide at the time of registration.
2. Minimum Contract Term
2.1 Membership runs for a minimum of 12 months from the date of your first payment.
2.2 You are not entitled to cancel or terminate your membership within the first 12 months.
2.3 After the initial 12-month period, your membership will automatically continue on a rolling monthly basis unless you notify us in writing of your wish to cancel, giving at least 30 days’ notice.
2.4 If, under extreme circumstances and following consultation with The Private GP, an early termination is agreed, you will be liable to pay an early termination fee equivalent to 70% of the remaining contract value.
3. Membership Benefits
3.1 Membership entitles you to the benefits described on our website. These include, but are not limited to:
•Priority access to GP appointments.
•Annual health checks and investigations (subject to eligibility below).
•Discounts on certain additional services.
3.2 Certain benefits are conditional on the number of payments made:
•Annual Blood Tests: Available only after at least 6 consecutive monthly payments have been received.
•ECG and Spirometry: Available only after at least 3 consecutive monthly payments have been received.
3.3 If you cancel before the relevant minimum number of payments, you will not be entitled to these benefits.
4. Payment Terms
4.1 Membership fees are payable monthly in advance.
4.2 Payments must be made by direct debit, standing order, or another method agreed at registration.
4.3 If a payment is missed, we may suspend your membership benefits until payment is received.
5. Cancellation & Renewal
5.1 You may only cancel your membership:
•After the initial 12-month contract has ended, by giving at least 30 days’ notice.
•Immediately, if we breach these Terms in a significant way and fail to put it right within a reasonable time.
5.2 If you cancel before the end of your minimum contract term, you remain liable for all outstanding payments until the end of the 12-month period.
6. Clinical Services
6.1 All clinical services, including consultations, tests, and investigations, are provided at the discretion of the treating doctor.
6.2 Membership does not replace emergency services. In the event of a medical emergency, you should call 999 or attend your nearest emergency department.
7. Changes to Membership
7.1 We may from time to time make reasonable changes to membership fees, services, or terms. Any changes will be communicated to you in advance.
7.2 If changes materially reduce your membership benefits, you may cancel at renewal without penalty.
8. Limitation of Liability
8.1 Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.
8.2 Subject to 8.1, we shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from membership.
9. Governing Law
9.1 These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
9.2 Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
